ISA Short course
March 2-3 2006
Survival and event
history analysis based on counting processes
This is the
first 2-day training event on which the ISA has embarked
and we hope it will be successful in terms of participation. We have
two leading world experts in Counting Processes (Per Kragh Andersen and
Niels Keiding) coming to give us a 2-day course. The course
will appeal to those who wish to strengthen their grasp of the modern
theory of survival analysisand will serve as a solid foundation for
applied work and future research study in the area. We hope to see a
good cross-section of applied and academic statisticians using
the course as a way of updating and refreshing their
knowledge base. The course represents excellent value compared with
commercial events.
