NOTE: Students taking History or Greek must take the 30-credit option.
Year 3:
MT433P, MT434P, MT441P, MT451P, plus 40 credits from the other modules on offer this year (MT442P, MT444P, MT461S, MT462S, MT463S, MT464S, MT465S, MT466S, MT480C, MT510). MT510 (10 credits) has twice the credit value of the other modules, so you either choose it and six other options or you choose eight options leaving MT510 out.
The course is demanding, and a grade B1 or better in Higher Leaving Mathematics is required. Students who propose to continue to research usually carry on to the one-year M.Sc. course in Mathematics.
