Title: Approximation of Algebras of Smooth
Functions

Current Job:

Mathematics Lecturer, University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Currently teaching Analysis and Algebra and Engineering mathematics courses to undergraduate students.
Also teaching Applied Functional Analysis course to masters students.

Research Interests

Mathematical Analysis, Approximations Problems, Solution of the Invariant subspace Problem for Banach spaces. Mathematics is widely interconnected. The centre of my interest is in mathematical analysis. I also like qualitative approximation problems using the function algebras in different dimensions. In recent years, we have been working on investigations into algebra-related problems involving real and complex analysis. These involved refinement of Nachbin's conjecture about the approximation of infinitely-differentiable functions. At present, am learning some new ideas on some aspect of the Invariant Subspace problem, also interested in Transmission of Images using Complex Dynamics Systems and Cryptography and Coding problems.
